A PLACE TO HAVE FUN - A PLACE TO THINK BIG A PLACE TO CALL HOME
The chart shows the electricity generated by RKHCA’s new rooftop solar PV system during the 6-month period from January 1 to July 4 (the submission deadline for this issue). The 6.46MWh of electricity generated to that date would have been enough to power 19,824 light bulbs for a day and represented 2,564kg of CO2 emissions saved. We were hoping in June to set a new RKH record for electricity generated in a single month, but unfortunately an accidental bump of the system’s AC Disconnect switch to the “Off” position that was only noticed 3 days later prevented us from beating the previous record set in May — here’s hoping for a sunny July with no accidental shutoffs!
