HALL, RINK AND GREEN SPACE RENTALS

The popular Richmond Knob Hill Community Hall is located at 2433 – 26 Avenue SW in Calgary, AB and is centrally-located just southwest of downtown between the communities of Killarney, Shaganappi, and Bankview and between 17th Ave SW and Marda Loop. We can accommodate up to 100 guests for functions like birthday parties, baby showers, workshops/seminars, arts shows, fitness classes and more! With a full kitchen, a large meeting room and an integrated sound system, it is perfect for all occasions.

Just outside the hall is a large private parking lot, a playground for toddlers, a hockey rink, figure skating rink, skating paths, and an outdoor fireplace to enjoy a hot drink after a good hockey game. The grounds also has a large green space that’s transformed into a soccer pitch or a bike training field in the summer months. Our hockey rink is also used for basketball in the summer months.

HALL RENTAL FEES

Daytime (9 AM - 5 PM)

    • Hourly rate / minimum of 4 hours: $30/h ($25/h for RKHCA members*)

Evenings (6 PM - 1 AM)
    • Fri - Sat : $500 ($400 for RKHCA members*)
    • Sun - Thurs : hourly rate / minimum 4 hours: $30/h ($25/h for RKHCA members*)
Non resident of RKH with Associate level RKHCA membership excluded.

RINK RENTAL FEES

  • Rink Rentals: $80 for 1.5h - Shack washroom access included ($60 for RKHCA members*)
  • Rink & Hall Rentals: $150 for 1.5 hours rink with access to the skate shack building washroom + 2 hour hall rental ($100 for RKHCA members*)

Non resident of RKH with Associate level RKHCA membership excluded.

NOTES
  • $100 Booking fee required to hold a booking reservation.Cancellations permitted with no penalty up to 30 days prior to the event. Booking Fee will be forfeited if cancellation received less than 30 days prior to the event and a new renter cannot be found
  • Rent and damage deposit required 14 days in advance of the event.
  • Proof of insurance & liquor permit required if alcohol served at the event. Liquor permit & insurance the responsibility of the renter.
  • Hall to be cleaned during rental time. Additional cleaning charge of $25/hr if not returned to the same condition accepted.
  • If there is damage to the facility, the damage deposit will not be returned until the cost of repair or cleanuphas beendetermined.
  • $30/hr + materials or commercial cost of repair to damaged facility or appliances
  • $100 if hall left not secured or doors left unlocked
  • $100 lost, broken or late return of keys
